We had a very good meeting with the Vice President of Zambia Saturday night. It was a great time of sharing at his home. He really opened up when he learned that we were from the same area where his son went to school – Thunderbird School for Intl Management. We were able to encourage him to fight and stand strong for Christian values in government (Zambia is a Christian nation that is now starting to face challenges of conforming to western liberalism as they look at the US and UK as models of prosperity and success.) They are currently re-writing the constitution, and we were able to encourage him to stand against things like legalizing abortion, homosexuality, drugs, and more. By sharing about America’s decline in family and Christian values, we hope that we were an encouragement to him to do the right thing. We had a chance to pray with him before we left and continue to pray for his strength to stand and speak for things which support God’s word.
